⚠ Safety first: White Park Bay is not safe for swimming. The official Causeway Coast & Glens tourism body states there are dangerous rip currents here — this is a beach for walking and exploring, never for bathing. (An online aggregator claiming 'safe swimming' at White Park Bay is incorrect and is not one of our sources.)

About White Park Bay

White Park Bay is a three-mile white crescent between headlands on the Causeway Coast, backed by ancient dunes and famously grazed by a small herd of cows that wander down onto the sand. Owned by the National Trust and reached by a steep walk down from a small free car park with no coach access, it stays gloriously quiet even on busy days. It is a place for walking, fossil-hunting — Jurassic ammonites and belemnites weather out of the chalk — and views to Rathlin Island and Scotland, with a Neolithic site hidden in the dunes. It is not, however, a swimming beach: dangerous rip currents make bathing unsafe.
