About Rush North Beach

Rush North Beach lies on the northern, estuary side of the seaside village of Rush, a sandy strand looking over the Rogerstown Estuary with its birdlife and mudflats. The EPA classifies the water Excellent. It is the quieter of Rush's two beaches, backed by the market-garden coast the village is known for, and pairs well with the harbour and South Beach a short stroll away. Reached from the village, it is a relaxed family spot for walking and paddling. Check the tide and local signage before swimming, as the estuary channels can run strong on a moving tide.
