Castlegregory
About Castlegregory
Castlegregory beach stretches along the sandy isthmus of the Maharees, with Tralee Bay on one side and Brandon Bay on the other. A long Green Coast strand backed by dunes, it is a hub for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing thanks to its exposed Atlantic position. There is huge room to walk, with the Brandon and Slieve Mish mountains rising all around. As a Green Coast rather than flagged beach it is unsupervised, so take care with conditions and currents.
