Béal Bán
About Béal Bán
Béal Bán is a broad, dune-backed Green Coast beach near Ballyferriter in the West Kerry Gaeltacht, on the Dingle Peninsula. Its wide expanse of clean sand looks towards the Three Sisters headland and the Atlantic, with the Blasket Islands not far beyond. A favourite for walking, horse-riding and gentle surfing, it is quieter than the peninsula's flagged beaches and has no lifeguard, so swimmers should take local care. The setting, ringed by hills and archaeology, is exceptional.
