Claycastle is a Blue Flag beach on the edge of Youghal in East Cork, a long strand of sand on the approach to the historic walled town. Lifeguarded in summer with safe swimming, a wheelchair-friendly boardwalk and good facilities, it is a popular, accessible family beach. The long sands and the nearby town make it an easy, enjoyable day out on the East Cork coast.
