About Traught Kinvara
Traught is a Blue Flag beach near Kinvara in south Galway, a long sand-and-shingle strand on the sheltered shore of Galway Bay looking across to the Burren. Lifeguarded in summer with safe swimming and good accessible facilities, it is a quiet, scenic beach popular with families. The Burren views, the calm bay and the nearby village of Kinvara make it a relaxed south Galway spot.
