Tránaun, Inishturk
About Tránaun, Inishturk
Tránaun is a Green Coast beach on the remote island of Inishturk, off the south Mayo coast, a small sheltered cove of clean sand reached by ferry and a walk down steep steps. There is no lifeguard or facilities, so swimming should be taken with care, but the island's wild beauty, clear water and total peace make it a special place for those who venture out.
