About Trá Poll na gCaorach, Inis Oírr
Trá Poll na gCaorach at Formna on Inis Oírr is a quiet Green Coast beach on the north-east shore of the smallest Aran Island, a sheltered strand of clean sand about fifteen minutes' walk from the pier. There is no lifeguard, so swimming should be taken with care, but the clear water, the island peace and the stone-walled Aran landscape make it a beautiful, tranquil spot.
