Ross Beach near Killala is a Blue Flag beach on the north Mayo coast, a sandy strand on Killala Bay with dunes behind and views across to the hills of Sligo. Lifeguarded in summer with safe swimming and some Atlantic surf, it is a popular family and watersports beach. The quiet bay setting near the historic town of Killala makes it a relaxed spot on the Wild Atlantic Way.
