Ring is a quiet Green Coast beach near Clonakilty in West Cork, a small sheltered strand at the mouth of Clonakilty Bay beside the picturesque fishing pier. There is no lifeguard, so swimming should be taken with care, but the calm, sheltered water and the pretty harbour setting make it a peaceful spot, with the lively town of Clonakilty just inland.
