About Port, Lurganboy

Port, near Lurganboy on the Cooley Peninsula, is one of County Louth's longest Blue Flag beaches, a sweeping strand of sand looking across Dundalk Bay to the Cooley and Mourne mountains. Lifeguarded in summer with safe swimming and good facilities, it is a quiet, scenic beach with a real sense of space, set in the beautiful Cooley landscape.
