About Mulranny Beach
Mulranny is a Blue Flag beach on a sandy spit between Clew Bay and the Nephin Beg mountains, beside the village and the Great Western Greenway. Lifeguarded in summer with safe swimming, it has a causeway to the strand, salt marsh and machair rich in wildflowers, and sweeping views over the islands of Clew Bay. A scenic, family-friendly beach on the Greenway cycle route.
