Mullaghroe Beach, Belmullet
About Mullaghroe Beach, Belmullet
Mullaghroe is a Blue Flag beach on the sheltered south of the Mullet Peninsula in north-west Mayo, a curve of clean golden sand looking across Blacksod Bay to Achill. Calm and shallow with safe swimming, though not lifeguarded, it is a quiet, scenic beach popular with local families. The remote peninsula setting and clear water give it a real away-from-it-all feel on the Wild Atlantic Way.
