About Morriscastle Beach

Morriscastle is a long Blue Flag beach on the north Wexford coast, a wide strand of golden sand backed by dunes and a popular holiday park. It forms part of one of the longest unbroken stretches of beach in Europe, running with barely a break from Cahore down to Curracloe. Lifeguarded in summer with safe, shallow water, it is a relaxed family beach with room to walk for miles, and Lawler's nearby is the spot for coffee and ice cream. Its gentle gradient and sunny south-east setting make it a firm favourite for summer days by the Irish Sea.
