Mornington
About Mornington
Mornington is a long beach at the mouth of the River Boyne on the Meath coast, a wide sweep of sand near the historic Maiden Tower. With no lifeguard, no car park and strong estuary currents near the river mouth, it is best enjoyed as a place for walking and birdwatching rather than swimming. The Boyne estuary setting gives it wide skies and abundant wildlife.
