About Millisle

Millisle is a Seaside Award beach on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, a long sandy strand with a beach park, paddling pool and the restored Ballycopeland Windmill nearby. With no lifeguard but gentle, shallow conditions and good facilities, it is a popular, family-friendly beach within easy reach of Belfast, a classic day-trip spot on the Ards coast.
