About Lisfannon
Lisfannon is a long sandy beach on Lough Swilly just north of Buncrana, with views across the water to the Fanad Peninsula. It is the area's most popular swimming and walking beach, reached by a small car park or on foot along the Buncrana Shore Path. The sheltered lough water and firm sand make it an easy, reliable spot for a swim or a long stroll, with Buncrana's shops and cafés a short walk or drive away.
