Groomsport is a Seaside Award beach in a pretty harbour village near Bangor on the north Down coast, a sheltered, sandy and accessible beach on Belfast Lough. With no lifeguard but calm, safe conditions and excellent accessible facilities, it is a welcoming family beach, with the village's harbour, cottages and coastal path close by. One of the most inclusive beaches on the Down coast.
