About Greystones North Beach

North Beach is the pebble strand on the far side of Greystones Harbour from the town's award-winning South Beach, backed by low cliffs where the coast path sets off north towards Bray. It is the quieter, wilder of the town's two beaches, and pairs naturally with the Bray–Greystones cliff walk for a half-day out. Parking is at the harbour and marina development beside the beach, though the DART is the easier option on a fine summer's day. Unlike South Beach, North Beach does not hold the EPA bathing-water designation and is not monitored, so no official water-quality classification is published — judge conditions on the day.
