Downings
About Downings
Downings (Tra Beg) is a Blue Flag beach on the Rosguill Peninsula, a long golden strand looking across Sheephaven Bay to Muckish and the Derryveagh mountains. Lifeguarded in summer and well served with facilities, it is a sheltered, family-friendly beach for safe swimming and long walks, with the resort village and the Atlantic Drive close by. One of north Donegal's most scenic and accessible beaches.
