Dooneen Pier
About Dooneen Pier
Dooneen Pier is a quiet Green Coast beach on the Sheep's Head Peninsula in West Cork, a small sheltered strand beside the old pier on Dunmanus Bay. There is no lifeguard, so swimming should be taken with care, but the calm water and the wild, unspoilt beauty of the Sheep's Head make it a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track spot for a swim or a walk.
