Dooey Beach
About Dooey Beach
Dooey is a long, wild Green Coast beach near Lettermacaward in west Donegal, a sweeping expanse of sand and dunes on the Wild Atlantic Way. Remote and unspoilt, with no lifeguard, it is a magnificent place for walking, beachcombing and surfing, though swimmers should take care with Atlantic conditions. The vast skies, dunes and sense of emptiness give it real solitude and natural beauty.
