Clonea is a long Blue Flag beach near Dungarvan in West Waterford, a wide sweep of golden sand backed by dunes and a holiday resort. Lifeguarded in summer with safe, gently shelving water and good accessible facilities, it is a popular family and watersports beach, with the Comeragh Mountains rising behind. One of the finest strands on the Waterford coast.
