About Cill Mhuirbhigh, Inis Mór

Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvey) is a Blue Flag beach on Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, a sheltered crescent of white sand beneath the famous fort of Dún Aonghasa. Lifeguarded in summer, with calm, clear water, it is the island's main swimming beach. Reached by ferry and explored by bike, it pairs Aran's stone-walled landscape with some of the clearest water in the west.
