Carne is a sheltered Blue Flag beach on the south-east tip of Wexford, a small sandy cove looking out over the Irish Sea. Lifeguarded in summer with safe, gently shelving water, it is a quiet, family-friendly beach with a well-known thatched pub close by. Sunny and calm in the 'sunny south-east', it is a relaxed spot for swimming and a stroll.
