Bishops Quarter
About Bishops Quarter
Bishops Quarter is a Green Coast beach near Ballyvaughan in north Clare, a sheltered stretch of sand and shingle on Galway Bay beneath the hills of the Burren. Lifeguarded in summer with safe, sheltered swimming, it is a quiet, scenic beach with limestone pavement and Burren walks close by. The calm bay setting and the dramatic Burren backdrop make it one of the most distinctive beaches on this stretch of coast.
