Barley Cove
About Barley Cove
Barley Cove is one of West Cork's most beautiful beaches, a Blue Flag sweep of golden sand backed by extensive dunes near Mizen Head. Lifeguarded in summer with safe, gently shelving water reached by a floating pontoon boardwalk across the marsh, it is a stunning, sheltered beach for swimming and walking. The dunes, the clear water and the dramatic Mizen setting make it a highlight of the Wild Atlantic Way.
