Ballyrisode is a gem of a Green Coast beach between Schull and Goleen in West Cork, a pair of small white-sand coves on Toormore Bay with strikingly clear, sheltered water. There is no lifeguard, so swimming should be taken with care, but the shallow, calm bays and dazzling water make it a favourite for families and swimmers in this beautiful corner of West Cork.
