About Ballyloughane

Ballyloughane is Galway city's east-side beach, a sandy strand on Lough Atalia reached along the promenade from Renmore. Quieter and more residential than Salthill on the other side of the city, it is an easy local spot for a swim or a walk with the city and the docks in view across the bay.
