Ballyheigue
About Ballyheigue
Ballyheigue is a long golden strand curving along Tralee Bay, with views across to the Maharees and the Dingle hills beyond. Backed by the village and its ruined church and castle, this Blue Flag beach has summer lifeguards and easy access from the seafront. The sweep of firm sand is ideal for a bracing walk, with rolling Atlantic surf that draws bodyboarders and improving surfers. A friendly, traditional Kerry seaside village sits right behind the beach.
